As a minister, mother, mentor, educator, and author, Karen gives herself whole-hearted to her faith, family and community. Some of her core beliefs are self-reflection leads to growth; self-discipline creates success; and the more people we can reach out and help, the more fulfilling our lives will be.

Working with several local non-profit organizations across San Diego County, At His Feet Ministry gives hope to those in distress, assistance with provide housing resources, counseling, job placement assistance, after school programs, mentoring for teens, to name a few.

Hosting a bi-annual Conference “God Stories”, where we provide a safe place for men, women and youth to share their stories of healing and the rescue provided by our Lord Jesus.  This encounter has become a helpful tool in the hand of God for the healing He desires for His children.

As the leader of the San Diego Domestic Violence Council Faith Leaders sub-committee, she has a vision of engaging, equipping, and supporting faith leaders across SD County. We are currently building a bridge that leads the faith community into a place where services and support are offered to families experiencing domestic abuse.

There is plenty work to be done to change our world and ministry allows us to give to others, what God has given to us. We’ve come a long way, but the work must continue throughout all generations. God pours into us so that we may pour ourselves out for those He has placed around us.
